Application Overview

The electronic compartment sealing components of downhole logging-while-drilling instruments are primarily used to establish electrical connections and provide sealing protection between different electronic compartments, ensuring stable signal transmission and equipment safety. The following are specific application details:

Sealing and Circuit Connection
The sealing components establish electrical connectivity between adjacent electronic compartments via electrical connectors while employing a sealed design to prevent mud or dust ingress. By embedding sealing rings into grooves, a dual-layer protection is formed around the connection ports, ensuring electrical conductivity while preventing corrosion or short circuits caused by the harsh underground environment.

Seismic Resistance and Stability
Some drilling instruments adopt special sealing structures, such as integrating power boards and communication boards into a single module to optimize seismic resistance. This design effectively reduces component detachment or circuit abnormalities caused by vibrations during drilling, ensuring stable data transmission. ‌

Adaptation to Complex Underground Environments
For extreme conditions such as high sand content and high-density drilling fluids, the new electromagnetic wave transmission system eliminates traditional mechanical components, directly transmitting measurement data via low-frequency electromagnetic waves to avoid issues like wear and sand blockage common in traditional wired connections. This technology imposes higher requirements on sealing components, necessitating both signal shielding and anti-interference capabilities.
